Description

Michael blanchette is a new hampshire-based photographer specializing in landscapes. These attributes are embodied in his business motto, serenity in landscapes. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features trees on a rocky shore under a Starry night sky. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. In addition to photographing new England, his passion for photography spans across the Colorado plateau, down the Southern Appalachian mountains, and overseas to locations in France, Norway, Scotland, Iceland, and Italy. His images exude a sense of tranquility, mystery, and simplicity. He is also passionate about night photography, forever in search of bright stars and a colorful milky way.
