Underfoot, the Ultra Pro's dual density midsole foam provides some stability towards the end of the run when your form starts to break down. As a daily trainer inspired by the race-ready S-Lab Ultra, the Salomon Ultra Pro shares many features but has a slightly softer ride and taller lugs. These lugs are deep enough for loose dirt and off trail adventures without being too aggressive for mellow paths and roads. Covering most of the outsole is Wet Traction Contragrip rubber with a multi-directional 5mm lug construction. Additionally, this rubber provides sticky traction on both wet and dry surfaces.
