The unique Lamina construction maximises the loft of the insulation, eliminates cold spots and thermally maps insulation to areas you need the most warmth. By strategically placing insulation, warmth is concentrated where you need it most – around your core and feet. The Lamina Z Torch also features Mountain Hardwear's exclusive welded Lamina construction that maximises loft and eliminates cold spots caused by traditional stitching. This glue welding technology stabilises the synthetic fill without sewing through the bag (like the majority of down bags are done) and pinches the insulation, maximising warmth and loft. Mountain Hardwear are the only manufacturers to use this advanced welding technology, making these synthetic sleeping bags rather unique to the market. A soft polyester lining wicks away moisture and a lightweight nylon shell does a great job of repelling water.
