Merrell's Trail Glove 5 3D is a 'Barefoot' shoe with an upper made from a 3D knitted sock material, designed to give you the flexibility and 360 degree encasement of a sock, with an outsole and closure of the shoe. Enabling you to slowly adjust your feet (and body) to move with less of the structural framework provided by more 'popular' trainers, the 'Barefoot' shoe will strengthen both your awareness and unused muscles. A securing Hyperlock TU film heel counter, an adjustable lace fastening and a protective TPU toe cap are all features common with the Trail range. However, Trail Glove 5 3D is a slip-on sock, with an elasticated toggle-lock mechanism to fix the upper into a secure position. Additional cushioning support is integrated into the tongue and ankle areas of the upper, making for a comfortable and secure fit. Extremely lightweight and effortless to wear, Trail Glove 5 3D allows you full contact between your feet and the ground while still offering you protection against uncomfortable surfaces. This is provided by Trail's flexible, shock absorbing Vibram rubber sole unit that has a treaded, slip-resistant outsole and integrated anatomically designed footbed.
