Liftex Pro-Edge Edge polyester web slings are different from most other edge slings in that the edge protection is structural - its built into the sling. Ply: 2 Ply Width: 6" Length: 19' Capacities Vertical: 28,600 lbs (14.3 tons) Choker: 23,000 lbs (11.5 tons) Basket: 57,200 lbs (28.6 tons) Material: Polyester Made in the USA Warning - Do not exceed rated capacities. Sling tension increases as the angle from horizontal decreases. Longer life means reduced cost per use. Pro-Edge features edge reinforcement with twisted tire – cord yarns – for the same reason that these yarns are used in tires – they provide maximum resistance to wear (cutting and abrasion). Liftex Pro-Edge Premium Edge polyester web slings are different from most other premium edge slings in that the edge protection is structural - its built into the sling. Additionally, the twisting of these yarns provides an enhanced degree of resistance to cutting and abrasion as compared to non-twisted yarns. Slings should not be used at angles less than 30 degrees.
